I paid $2.42 the other day. Gasoline is the only thing that costs the least in NJ, for everything else we're usually in the top 5. Oh, and we are not allowed to pump it ourselves, either.

the employees pump it for you? I've never heard of that. The other day I payed 2.50 and when I got back from lunch it was up to $3!

Aug 20 paid $3.17 per gallon for self serve regular 87 octane in Northern Illinois (Chicago market area) where we have special formulated summer gasoline blends which are not used anywhere else in US. Can you say supply and price demand !!!!!!

March 22, 2008: In San Francisco it is $3.65 for regular unleaded.

I just relished something you are all talking in gallons. In Australia the average price is about $1.4 per letter which is equivalent to $5.3U.S. per gallon you all have it easy especially when you consider that in the UK they are paying up woods of $9.5 U.S. per gallon.

I passed a gas station on my way to work this morning and gas was $4.69 for regular.
