I saw a commercial for the G1 phone and it had a set of twins posing this question. Does anyone know the answer? I’m a twin, but fraternal.

No, the fingerprints develop within the womb and differ depending upon where the twins are located within the womb, and environmental factors may affect the type of fingerprint.
What about DNA? Is that the same for twins?
Great answers so far, I do want to add one thing. The chances of two or more people having the same fingerprints is about .001 in a million.
DNA is the same for identical twins, I believe. The egg splits after fertilization.
Things such as birthmarks (moles and such) and fingerprints are random developments. No set of identical twins is truly identical.
DNA is identical, but the fingerprints, moles, etc. are different due to epigenetic effects.
no they do not have the same fingerprints, footprints, moles, birthmarks etc. My boys have the same birthmarks and no moles what so ever, so when we came home from the hospital my wife and I got them confused. We took them to the doctor and got fingerprints and compaired them to the hospitals. From then on we wore braclets to tell them apart. Are you having twins?
no, I’m not having any children yet. I can barely change my OWN diaper. ;)
