What's the boldest way you've ever asked someone out?

Last week I struck up a nice conversation with the cashier at Trader Joe’s. I would have liked to connect with her more, but um… I was at the checkout. Didn’t really know how to do it in a tactful, appropriate way. Hence my question.

If I ever get that type of situation again, I want to remember the inspiration of your stories of courage and daring.
