since Sen Obama did not accept public financing, must he still disclose his supporters and how much they gave?

Yes, and he is. But he only has to disclose the overall amount and who the supporters were if they gave over a certain amount. He has chosen to only disclose that which he is required to disclose.
Thank you. What is that “certain amount”?
I want to say it was $2500. It might be as little as $1000. If you find a report (a longer one) from when he disclosed his fund raising in September, they talked about it.
Actually, it might have been $250. Off to the reports I go!
@EP I think the amount is $2500.
That means that employees of the government donated that money. The places it is attributed from means that either the employees donated or that company’s Political Action Committee donated. In the case of the government—one of, if not the, largest employers in the US, that’s not surprising.
I’m pretty sure it’s only $200 actually.
Dale! You don’t have linkage ready? I’m.. shocked.
Also, are you sure that was you? It was very short.
I’ll come up with a link later, just wanted to get it out there so I’d have this show up on my activity list.
That’s why these new voters will probably show up because even if it’s only $5.00 they have a financial investment in Obama.
The $250 donation I gave last year is on a list on the internet. So I guess that makes me a “fat cat”. My father would have been so happy about my economic success!
