Anyone Have First-Hand Experience With Androgel?

Apparently I have low testosterone. My doctor is putting me on the Androgel, which I believe is a gel-like steroid. (I get it tomorrow). Interestingly, it might help with my moods; I do have a mood disorder or two. But, it’s steroids. I’m wondering about possible side-effects and if it is safe.

@jon, This site seems to have an objective look at Androgel, dosage, side effects, trials, etc. You may find the information helpful. The site goes into a lot of detail, but is easy to read, and is objective. They have the results of various trials included in the write-up, including a 3 year trial.
