What beloved friend or family member are you remembering on All Saints Day?

Asked by cdwccrn (3620points) October 31st, 2008 from iPhone

in church, we celebrate to saints who have died, people who led the church or its people to faith. It can be family members or friends as well, people we now miss and grieve. Who is that for you?

never celebrated that day, but hey, at least this year it is the day of resetting clocks in the midwest so we get a bonus sleep hour on sunday, nov. 2.

but if i had to choose, i’d say celebration would be for my grandmother who passed 2 years ago. she was a real saint to me!

My husband- in church today we discussed that all christians- those who know God/Jesus are to be regarded as saints according to the bible. That our loved ones are singing to the glory of God and he is looking after them and giving them rest.
