Feel bloated really easy after fasting?

I just fasted for 2 days for the first time, i then had a salad and felt really full, like i had just eaten a huge dinner i felt extremely bloated this happened about 6 hours ago and i still feel bloated from salad, is this normal, is this supposed to happen after fasting?

Salad can cause gas. Maybe in an empty stomach, the effect would be more pronounced.

1. Your stomach shrunk.
2. I’m willing to bet you had some type of dressing with garlic in it huh? If so this is your problem.
Often in many cultures where fasting is normal garlic and curries are also part of the norm hence the ton of fennel that these folks also eat. To ease the bloat.
You’ll be better in the morning. Just drink plenty of water and have some fiber in the morning.

Your stomach does shrink when you eat less or go without. Meaning, it takes much less to make you feel full. It’s a nice side effect if you are dieting, but not so nice if you don’t realize it will happen.
