Are we talking exactly the same here? Because that would be an impressive feat, and I would be very impressed and might at that point be convinced to take up religion, or at least a conspiracy theory or two.

I assumed exactly meant 269 to 269 in the electoral college. In which case we get special session of Congress where the House elects a President and the Senate elects a Veep. But they have to choose between the folks from the 2 top tickets.

If it was popular vote, it wouldn’t matter. Only electoral college matters.
