I liked it. In spite of being humorous, it manages to impart a poignant message. And sadly, some of those caricatures are not all that extreme (at least in my neck of the woods).
I’m gonna be honest, canceling out a red voter in Virginia makes me pretty pleased with myself.
But, that’s only half of it.
It is my right. It is my duty. It is my way to contribute. To make my voice heard. Is the one time I can get the voting sticker for free instead of paying $.25 for it.
@Bri: Where can you buy those? For some reason I assumed they were like communion wafers, you get them one place and you don’t ask questions.
Because it matters so much to the future of our country. And I take my responsibility as an American citizen seriously.
It was never really a choice – where I come from the suggestion of wanting to vote can get you in trouble. It’s a privilege that I try not to forget I am fortunate enough to have.

I have lived in countries where voting was equivalent to risking your life, or was a mere rubber-stamp enforced by people with guns.
