Like, new song? Old song? On the radio? In your head? Are you looking for recommendations?
Nickleback, “Gotta be you”. Love that song.
@ trumi: just the best song you’ve heard recently, that’s it—new, old, on the radio, whatever.
I really like
M.I.A Paper Planes from the Pineapple Express commercial.
The theme song to the show “Saving Grace”
what is that song?!? I love it….
I’m currently listening to Superstition by Blanche. Not usually my kind of music, but I love it.
“If we can’t trust the doctors, and all our prayers have fallen flat…”
charmer, by kings of leon
That song on the ipod commercial. Something about doing handstands…
Pogo by Digitalism. I’m not even that into DJ/electronic stuff but everytime I listen to this it gets me pumped and happy.
The ‘Friday Night Lights’ Theme song, I don’t know the name unfortuantely.
Closely followed by “Kraak And Smaak – Squeeze Me”.
asmonet’s answer reminds me of Don’t Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult that has just kind of stuck with me.
Cartel – I Will Hide Myself Away .. very catchy.. and relaxing while i do my homework
Haha didn’t wanna go with their big hit, figured I’d go with something else, that was still really easy to digest and maybe grab a few new fans. :)
Hungry Like the Wolf.
Also, This is Halloween and the rest of that soundtrack.
I like the new one by Kid Rock All Summer Long
A Better Place, a Better Time by Streetlight Manifesto. I’ve become more than a little obsessed and I want to make a music video for it, :)
When the President Talks to God by Bright Eyes
@Likeradar my bf loves that song.. its too slow for me.. but it has good lyrics
The National- Mr. November. It’s older but I love that song.

Hot n Cold – Katy Perry
Disclaimer: Both potential earworms…
@goldie: have you seen the music video for hot n cold? If you haven’t, you should. It’s hilarious.

@jsc: If you like MIKA, and have a chance to see him live. Do it, he jumps around on instruments and puts on a damn good show.
@jessturtle23: that’s definitely my favorite song. you win big.
@shrubbery: Walking on a Dream is fantastic. You also win big.
I’d have to say “We are the people” by Empire of the Sun. Or “Felix and the Mural” by Post-Foetus.
@asmonet I love Mika! His entire latest album was so great! I’d love to see him live if I ever have the chance.
Sloane, I love Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World. Love it.
The best one I’ve heard lately is So What by Pink. She writes very insightful lyrics, and that girl can sing and then some!!

I just heard a song today by an artist who I had never heard of before and it really impressed me: “The Guy Who Says Goodbye to You,” by Griffin House.
“Black & Gold” by Sam Sparrow is my absolute favourite song at the moment. And I usually don’t have absolute favourite songs that I obsess over.
I haven’t even listened to any of Sparrow’s other stuff yet. =P
Chroma: Xeroxing never looked so sexy.
@tinyfaery the iPod commercial song is called Bruises by Chairlift.
And it is an awesome song.
Right now I’m listening to the first EP produced by the band Ragni. It’s mostly instrumental, very minor with classical sounding roots, and it’s really helping me concentrate on my work. I recommend it!

I’m Yours / Jason Mraz
How Six Songs Collide by Norwegian Recycling sounds so incredible. It’s the combination of six songs together:

4. Angela Ammons – Always Getting Over You
5. Boyzone – All That I Need

Every single track of the new Sick Puppies’ CD Tri-Polar is just insane!! Have been listening to it 2 weeks now, nonstop!
Rise Against’s Savior (and pretty much anything Rise Against) and also Metric’s Help, I’m Alive, which I started hearing at the most inopportune time: it was the week of Torchwood: CoE and it reminds me of um…something. (It’s hugely spoilerific.) Makes me sooo sad. And also slightly hopeful. Just thinking, it could also resemble Jack, couldn’t it?
Ring of Fire by Adam Lambert
it is on auto repeat in my head for two months. I can’t find the off button anywhere!
