My all time favorites are-
The Beatles and The Alan Parsons Project.

My favorite (or favourite) current band is Alabama 3.

God, I feel old. Haven’t heard of any of those.

Most of them aren’t mainstream bands and are somewhat obscure to most. Adam Fielding has released his stuff on Magnatune, DJ Ötzi is German, and the two bands people are most likely to have heard of are Pendulum and Fightstar. I can guarantee that 99% of the kids in my school haven’t heard of The Flashbulb, M83, µ-Ziq, Aphex Twin etc. etc. so I don’t think it’s an age thing AC, more of an obscurity ‘problem’.

I’m glad this question up, it’s prompted me to listen to some of the artists I’ve not listened to in a long while, thanks :D

I think the two bands people are most likely to have heard of are Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin?

I saw In Flames, on of my fav bands on Nov 7th at the Sound Academy. For my fisrt show it was amazing, In Flames are so cool, they also played with All the remains, 36 Crazy fists and Gorjira.
