How do you apply textures in Sketch Up?

I know how to apply colour. It’s that metallic texture I’m looking for.

I think you can import an image and just format as texture?
Hopefully JP can give you a more definitive answer.
Really need to dust off my Sketch Up.
Where’d he go?
I thought I knew the answer and then after testing it I realized my initial solution was wrong.
select the face, from the “materials” window click on “edit” you will see that under the color wheel it says “texture” click on the folder with the small blue arrow. Select your texture and that’s it.
(you can also edit it there, scale/color etc.)
