How do you express yourself in your own way when your life is consumed with work and bills?
I really need a hobby or something bc I feel as though my life is consumed by my job and I was just wondering what are some things that you do to express yourself and add some variation to your lifestyle? I walk, jog, read and listen to music but I’m bored as hell!!!!!!!

get a pet! they are great, and can even be a great stress reliever.
work on getting a job that you actually like, nothing better than having your favorite hobby as main source of income. The rest falls into place on it’s own. Find your perfect job that’ll in turn become your expression of yourself.
easier said than done, I know, but doable nonetheless. And definitely worth it.
Yes…that would be amazing. I think I’m in a rut. Life is too short, right? I just don’t know what I want.
shop, go to a beach or the mountains, enjoy the silence
I love to get out and enjoy nature for as long as I can everyday, even if I just lay down in the grass and stare at the clouds in the sky for a while. It puts things back into perspective for me. Meaning, in the grand scheme of the universe, all these worries we are consumed with are nothing. If I’m feeling anxiety or frustration, I get a great release jogging and listening to the music I love on my ipod. Hope this was helpful. :-)
p.s.- deep breathing does wonders for me.
I write; paint; and design, make and refurbish things. In the past several years I have not done enough of any of these, but I hope to return to it all soon, and try to actually make a small income from them as well!
My friends and I have the same discussion like 4 times a week, we realized that drinking coffee and talking about the hobbies we don’t have was actually our hobby :)
flameboi- LOL!
chicadelplaya and augustian- thank you for those great answers.. I’ve actually been working on that and it’s been helpful. :)
