one time this random guy on myspace sent me a picture of his girlfriend and for me to say that she actually looked like me must mean something and as in personality wise HELL NO
When I was in college, my friends would sit down beside this person in the cafeteria until they realized it wasn’t me. They swore I had a twin. The girl ended up knowing my name eventually (enough people approached her thinking she was me!). In my 3+ years there, I never did bump into her. Funny. And she was of a different nationality too apparently.
One day I was in the bakery and at the counter was a person who I thought was my son. I walked up to him and squeezed his arm and started a coversation. This person was standing no more than two feet from me and it wasn’t until his response alerted me to the fact that he was not my son that I figured it out.
Strange thing is, my son has a twin brother who doesn’t look a whole lot like him.
(the guy in the bakery thought I was nuts)
I have a facebook friend that has the same last name as my maiden name, and she was born in the same village my grandparents came from Europe. We did the family tree, and the first ancestor we share was born in 1825. From the nose up, she looks exactly like me and my aunt. Every time I see her picture, it really gives me a jolt. Her mouth and jawline look nothing like me, but the nose, eyes, and hair are oh so eerily familiar. She’s 25 and I’m 51.
This is a pretty awesome question actually, and I don’t know anything about it. I feel there might be something to it, but despite my interest in paranormal and conspiracy-type stuff, I’m actually too chicken to look to see if there’s any research or whatever to this. I do know that if you look up the term “doppleganger”, you might get a thing or two. brrrrr
I have an evil twin in NYC. Same name, related generations ago, two years apart, an he is gay. His middle name is different, but first and last are the same. We talk now and then and he is quite likable. I am sure if we lived in the same town we’d be friends also. Except I call him my evil twin for fun.
