Status of Jabber for facebook chat?

I know that facebook is building in Jabber support to the chat system. Does anybody know anything besides “comming soon”?

I want to connect via an external chat client. Does anyone know how to do this?

Cerulean Studios plans to put FB chat into Trillian. How do they intend to do this?

im not sure if you need this question answered by now but you can use facebook chat. just press the link other out of the options in this link you can set up facebook chat on jabber.
