What does "fluther" mean?
Being a fluther newbie, I must ask the obvious question. I searched on fluther for the answer but found nothing.

I guess it’s the same as “Google”; there is no meaning, but it’s become a real word for people.
fluther
Where’d you get the name Fluther?
A fluther is a group of jellyfish, like a gaggle of geese (or a taint of tilapia).
“Fluther” is pronounced /‘flʌ ðɚ/. It rhymes with “brother” and “mother.”
It’s the name for a group of jellyfish.
Very good! Now what’s a Copecabra? Just kidding
My work here was done before I even got here.
@anthony: Google which should have been spelled Googol is actually a number (1 followed by 100 zeroes). The reason it was spelled incorrectly is because when Sean Anderson checked to see whether the website was taken he incorrectly spelled the word. What’s funny is now google is a word according to Webster. Just wanted to share some useless info. :)
@critter very interesting. Lurve.
Copecabra sounds a lot like Chupecabra. Any relation? JUST JOKING
hee hee! When googled it shows up as an avid vista user or Cupacabra
@Copacabra & TheBox: Welcome!
Yeah, what ^^^^ she said! Welcome aboard! I hope you don’t mind us playing around.
OK, all you kidders ;-}. “Copecabra” is a compound of my name, Copeland, and chupacabra (a small, stealthy creature with glowing red eyes that sucks the blood out of goats). Is it real? Good question. Chupacabra is a compound word from the Spanish words; chupar (to suck) and cabra (goat).
P.S.: I like to think of myself as being much nicer than a chupacabra.
