NetFlix for Books?
I have a bunch of books at home and once I am done with them, they pretty much sit around collecting dust. I could easily go to the library and check books out but I am wondering if there is a service like NetFlix for books. I found one (ReadingWave) that seems nice.
Do you know of any services/sites that allow book rentals by mail or direct-swapping with others?

@jasongarrett – Thanks!
That’s the kind of stuff I am looking for.
@jasongarrett – That’s a really cool site, going to have to try it. Thanks!
@jasongarrett, that is awesome. I never thought such a place existed. Our local used book shop/exchange shut down and my husband is threatening to throw my many boxes of books out if I go buy another book. Aack! Now I have a place to work with. Yay!
@ jasongarrett, thank you! Many gold pieces, or lurves, or pieces of eight to you!
-have you tried it out yet?
I feel strangely like someone just declared Christmas is early this year. I’m such a book geek. ;~)
Swaptree is also a good place for trading books.
What about using the library?
Every time I go I wonder why I have not gone more often.
I’m really glad this question was asked, because I haven’t tried bookmooch yet and I have a stack of books at my feet to get rid of. This was the reminder I needed.
Wow! I’m going to try it!
A week later, I’ve given one book and mooched one book. So far so good.
I’ve given away a bunch of books. If nothing else, at least I am reducing some clutter around the house and getting “points” to cash in later. Hopefully BookMooch wont die out in this economy.
Just an update for all you guys. I have been using BookMooch and it’s great. Thank you @jasongarrett
