Not necessarily the actor/actress, but a character. I love the schoolgirl from Kill Bill, Vol. 1. She epitomizes what it is to kick @$$! She would have to be one of my all time favorite movie characters. What character(s) do you like?

Sarah: That’s not fair!
Jareth: You say that so often, I wonder what your basis for comparison is?
Elwood P. Dowd
Elwood P. Dowd: Well, I’ve wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I’m happy to state I finally won out over it.
Ben Hur and/or Braveheart
Anton Chigurh, Tony Montana, Ben Sanderson
Obi-Wan Kenobi, basically he’s the man.
Or River from Serenity and from the Fire Fly series Crazy Beautiful
Virginia Woolf played by Nicole Kidman in “The Hours”. I don’t know if her character could be categorized as fictional though, so I’ll pick another one, too.
Astrid Magnussen from White Oleander.
Igby from Igby goes Down.
Donnie Darko from Donnie Darko.
I identify with all of them in one way or another, so I’m naturally drawn to them.
Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I always thought she was so gutsy!
Jim from 28 Days Later. He’s just such a helpless cutie!
And, of course, pretty much the entire cast from Princess Bride. :)
@seven: Braveheart isn’t a character, William Wallace is.
Oh, how did I freaking forget the Princess Bride?!
@ Shrubbery – Darn right Indiana Jones!
Also
George Baily
and
Jason Bourn
I’m going to take this time to shamelessly advertise that William Wallace is, in fact, a distant relation of mine :)
@KatawaGrey-I thought you typed with a bit of an accent! :-)
@zack: HAHAHA, I used to love that commercial. I can’t believe that’s him. Thanks. :)
@bri: I have very little Scottish inside me, but it’s the strongest and it boils away inside my veins!
<extremely proud of my heritage
@Kata – On the serious side that is really something. What an amazing thing!!!
Michael Corleone in the first Godfather movie, and John Smith (as played by Christopher Walken) in The Dead Zone.
Peter Pan!

and Tyler Durden.
@bri: thank you! I was more than a little ecstatic to find that out myself.
of course, I need to see Braveheart now
@KatawayGrey – You haven’t?!?!??! Wow you have ta!
fred from drop dead fred I’d kill to have a friend just like him
@bri: I know!!!! I really want to. I saw a little part of it once and was very dissappointed to see that Mel Gibson was not outfitted in traditional Wallace plaid!
Atticus Finch.
@Kata: He does wear a kilt though. It’s an excellent movie!
@Kata: Link isn’t working : (
I’m part Scottish, too, but have no clue what my tartan might be, so I was really interested in seeing yours!
Augustlan: Atticus Finch, excellent choice. =)
@Allie: He’s my default literary character, too…just love him.
@aug: ah, damn. Well, just type in “Wallace clan tartan” in the search bar, or just look at any thermos in America. :)
I have always been a huge fan of attorney and father Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck) in the movie To Kill A Mockingbird.
-Captain Nemo from the old 20,000 Leagues under the Sea
-Any Gregory Peck character ever.
-Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men
-V from V for Vendetta
-Denzel Washington as Malcolm X
Charlie bartlett. Totally awesome character from the same named movie.
Dr. Henry Jones and Marcus Brody from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Kobayashi and Verbal Kint from The Usual Suspects
Fredo Corleone and Hyman Roth from Godfather part 2
Robin Hood and Azeem from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Marty McFly and Doc Brown from Back to the Future

Mr. Universe from the movie Serenity.
@tehrani625 – YES. Wish there was more of him in there…
@shadling21 Well he died so all I can do is wish for more of him. Although if I where him I would have hidden and let the alliance kill a robot copy or clone of me. Just for a cool plot twist if they ever make another movie or a second season of the show. And on second thought I would have had a better security system with auto turrets and things of that nature.
Hmmm, good question… Love The Dude from Big Labowski…. Betrix from Kill Bill…..Juno…Roger Rabbit…..The Gladiator, or Spaniard….hmmm
Oh and The little fat kid from Hangover that shot that dude in the face with the tazer… his dirty look is priceless….
