Alech Taadi by Cheb Khaled
Let’s see if anyone can figure out what that song is from!
It sounds Arabic…or Afgani. But what do I know?
Or Farsi, Urdu, Pashtu, Bengali, or Hindi,
He’s an Algerian ra singer.
So does he sing in Arabic? Clearly not French.
What’s a ra singer?
The version I just saw on You Tube is in French. The song was written by a French songwriter and is sung by Cheb Khaled. It has been translated into Arabic; perhaps there are two versions since Khaled sings in both French and Arabic.
I made a mistake. It is rai singing (or rai singer) and it is Algerian music of dissent.
It’s the song from the Fifth Element during the car chase when Lelo is first introduced, crashing threw Korbin’s Taxi Roof…
Big boom!
BIG BADA BOOM!
So many people know the beat, but can’t figure out the move it is from or who sung it.
Also, another song to add to my repertoire of “songs that make me dance\head bang\brake junk” is: The Boss Battle Theme Song from The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. It’s totally a brutal, metal theme!

This artists who goes by the moniker “Girl Talk” makes nothing but dance music. He’s a mashup artist (combines songs). SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD. People go to his concerts just to dance. He doesn’t write any of it himself, but he’s that good.
@chutterhanban My friend just sent me some Girl Talk and told me that he wouldn’t be friends with me anymore if I didn’t like it too.

That Maniac song by Michael Sembello. I heard it in a store the other day and found myself dancing down the aisle. I am not a dancer, I have never been a dancer, and I dance like your typical white male with no apparent sense of rhythm. But that song will get me acting foolish in no time flat. My wife about died laughing.
