What's 'Shockwave Log'?

When I click Macintosh HD it’s there with Applications, Developer, Library, System, and Users. It’s a 4kb plain text file that’s blank. What is it and can I delete it?

Shockwave is a plugin like Flash. You can delete it. It might recreate itself later but it is safe to delete.
