Another interesting read is the Mat-su Valley Frontiersman, which is the Wasilla local paper. It gives you a baseline perspective of where Palin’s coming from. Interesting reading.

Palin does not be representative of the overall level of Alaskan politics, but does seem representative of the “popular will of the people” superseding the constitution and due process. This clip is about upholding a court ruling requiring the state to pay health care benefits to same-sex couples who are state employees.
