I don’t like it. I know this isn’t the first time the format has changed, but the large size is what I’ve always know. The pages are too glossy and it looks like People.

I agree. I bought a recent issue and now it gets lost in my stack. The larger format made it easier to recognize and pull to read. I don’t like this new RS!
Way Down!
Although, speaking from a postman’s point of view, it’s much easier to handle.
down, it lacks character.
It confuses me. I spent ten minutes thumbing through the newstand for an issue of Rolling Stone.
It didn’t even register that I might be looking for an average sized magazine.
Anyone know why they decided to switch?
I’m sure is was some cost cutting thing.
I personally like it. It fits my briefcase much better and a lot less cumbersome on an airplane. As far as I can tell the content is the same, which at my age is what I am all about. Now, were I a freshman in college my opinion might be different. I don’t think I would cut off the covers of the current magazine and tape them to my ceiling in my dorm.
One thing I would agree with: It doesn’t have the same “underground” feel to it.
