Is Fluther acting funny?

Asked by SuperMouse (30853points) November 15th, 2008

Ever since last night I don’t get a preview of my posts. I can type a response but when I hit “answer” the little dot just spins in circles and what I wrote never posts. Is it just me or is anyone else having these issues?

Note: What’s really odd to me is that I was able to post this question. Hmm….

Nope, working just fine for me. :)

It was kind of kookie at 3:00 am central, but JohnPowell snapped his fingers and it was working again. Nothing weird since then, although I did go back to bed until just now.

I think someone else was having this problem at some point. You should try to completely clear the cache on your browser. You might also try another broswer if you’ve got one installed. Sounds like something might have gotten messed up on your end as oppose to the actual fluther site.

Since I have no idea how to completely clear the cache on my browser, I gave another browser a shot. Lo and behold it worked! Now, if anyone can tell me how to completely clear the cache on my firefox, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Bodyhead!

Tools -> clear private data

You’ll see a bunch of options in there. I’d only keep cookies and saved passwords and put a checkbox everywhere else. Make sure cache is checked.

Hey let me know if this fixes your problem.

Thanks Body! I still can’t get it to work with firefox, but I’m getting here just fine with internet explorer.

Lucky me, I arrived in time to see the visit from our latest troll. Thank heavens for moderators!

It’s probably more then you want to do but worst case scenario, you could uninstall and reinstall it. It would only take you a couple of minutes.

@bodyhead
That was me. All I had to do was clear the cache.
