If behind my knee is in alot of pain is there someting I could do to make the pain go away?

Asked by curioscamel (87points) November 17th, 2008

I am currently on a wrestling team and behind my knee is in allot of pain, I randomly collapse at times and the pain keeps me from doing my best, this happened a bit last year bt shortly went away, it currently is hurting allot when i walk or move it. Does anybody have any suggestions to make it go away or any similar experiences?

HEY SERIOUSLY, THAT COULD BE SIGNS OF A BLOOD CLOT OR SOMETHING MAJOR. GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR ASAP!!

waterskier2007's avatar

actually now that i think about it i had a blood clot in my thigh once and it kind of felt the same way. go to the doctor

Its not a blood clot. More likely is a strained ligament, or more worrisome is a torn meniscus or an injury to one of 4 knee ligaments, likely the posterior cruciate ligament. See your doctor for an exam and possibly an MRI.
