How can I remove the little dots on all of my dates on my iPhone?

Asked by stevenb (3836points) November 18th, 2008

Ok, so I just got my phone back from Apple. They sent a new one to me to try and fix this. I dont have any events on a lot of my days on my calender, but every day, even weekends, there is a little black dot on the monthly calender indicating that there should be. It starts on May first of 2007, and there is no event that reoccurs every day, or that does not end. Apple couldn’t help. Can some of you please? I use it for work scheduling, and need to be able to see open days, and this messed with me every day. I sync it with outlook express. Thanks for the help.

I just tried something new. It didn’t work on my old phone, but on this one it did. I switched from all calenders to home calenders, and most of the dots went away. It alse erased most of my dates from being visible. When I switched back, the dots were all back. I’m still confused. Where is richardhenry when I need him?

Hmm, I haven’t got any ideas. Maybe iwamoto can help, he works at an Apple Store. I’ll send him a comment and see if he can chip in.

hmm, since i never worked with an iphone personally this will be fun, what happens if you first turn of calender sync. and then apply it, then enable it again, and of course apply it again ? with a bit of luck it will overwrite the current state your calender is in with the calender from outlook, it’s worth a shot right ? good luck !

@iwamoto, I tried that. No luck. Any other ideas?

Maybe the problem is that I add all of the dates to my phone first, then sync them to outlook. I dont want to delete them all, because they are my main record of work we have done.
