I have a huge project to finish up, and I can’t open up the freaking microsoft powerpoint! I tried getting to it other ways, but nothing works. So I tested out other things to see if it would open up other stuff, but NOTHING IS WORKING!!!! HELP!!!!!

I can’t even right click on anything
I assume you’ve rebooted once, that’s the first step to take when your comp’s misbehaving.
Try to shut down all other programs, and launch it.
I already did that. I’ll try again though
If that doesn’t work, try opening the Powerpoint application normally, then open your file from the File -> Open menu. This has remedied a problem in my past once before.
If you can’t open ANY presentation in Powerpoint, well that’s a bit of a tough problem indeed, I’m not sure how to troubleshoot that one.
Ok I did it! Wow I just had like a 20 minute session of panic and tears
Awesome! I’d take a second here and make a backup. I always email myself my document a few times throughout its creation so that no matter what I have a solid copy of most of the work!
I use Gmail since it has huge storage capacity, easy sorting, and Google Docs makes it handy to peek at the attachment. Because of this I have basically a breadcrumb trail of most of my university assignments… it’ll be interesting to look back on them in 10 years :D
My assignment was actually fun. It’s for World History, and I chose King Richard I for my presentation. Plus I get to dress up like him. I have this really cool crown for it and the lady that does the costumes for my school lent me a king like costume so I look AWESOME!!!!!
Super sweet! Be sure to take a picture, not to share with us, but to share with yourself and others in the future. I wish I had more pics of myself throughout high school and that wasn’t too long ago for me either…
Will do. And the teacher always video tapes them
ok, since the case is solved then my area of expertise is needed elsewhere…lol..but hello tho! and i’m glad you got it all worked out…
