Why is there so much Enlgish is Japanese video games?

Like if you play a game that never released in the US (not hacked) there is words written in English.

In Japan, using English words is cool, no matter where it is. Some of it might make sense, but a lot of it (especially on t-shirts) does not. It’s just like the Chinese character tattoo fad in North America – foreign is exotic is desirable.

ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!!!
Its cause we owned them in WW2
It is like dynamicduo said, usually horrible English
