file…save as web application, so you can run it independantly, if your browser crashes, the web app. will keep on running
Useful for things like Campfire Chat or Google Docs, where you might want to keep it as a separate entity to your normal web browsing.
i have tried to make one of facebook, but when i open it, it asks me for my password, which i enter but then when i click login, it doesnt do anything, it doesnt even recognize that the login button is a button
Waterskier, welcome to the exciting world of Developer Previews. One of the things in the EULA that you skipped was, “don’t bitch if this breaks!”
But really, web applications are useful. I use Prism to run Google Reader, and it’s better than any native RSS reader software I’ve found yet! It’s nice to give it its own dock icon, and for it to run its own processes, so that it’s safe from FF crashes. If you’re having troubles with Safari, give Firefox a try.
