The neverending search for happiness
Getting screwed by someone more intelligent, experienced and socialable than others.
Life is about the experience of living.
It’s about 85 years long, on average!
“Life is pain, highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.”
Actually, I tend to think it is about experience.
Sex. Food. Warmth. The Perfect Margarita.
Life is a process of perpetual self improvement.
Being excellent to each other and partying on.
Being happy is what life’s about to me.
Life is about learning how to deal with losses. Or, another way to say it is, loving and feeling joy in spite of the losses we must endure. And how one loves and feels joy comes in many ways: it could be making a life with another, spending one’s life in service to others, and many variations in between.
Life is about enjoying oneself and having experiences :)
Life is about doing something different everyday. Each day that you do the same thing is a waste of a day. So keep it fresh!
@Chuck – I think you nailed it, my excellent friend.
To me, the less life means, the more it seems to matter.
Riding waves until they break.
Finding joy as we learn to live peacefully in community.
Finding joy as we wrestle with the existential questions of life.
Finding joy even as we move from one loss to the next.
OR
waiting for grandchildren:)
Whatever you want it to be about! That’s the beauty and the curse—it’s up to you! Dream away!
