For a theatrical production of short plays, I need instrumental (can be vocal, but no lyrics) transition music that evokes or speaks to each of the 7 deadly sins. Suggestions?
The 7 deadly sins are: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride.

Well, I would say the most obvious to me is some sultry jazz tune for lust, though I don’t know of a really spicy passionate one.
Pride could be represented with a marching band song, the leader of the band could be really pompous and boastful as well to hammer it in.
I think it’d be a cute homage to use the Pink Floyd song Money for greed.
I’m sure you could find some powerful classical instrumental song for wrath.
For the others… a bit tougher, we’ll see if I can think of anything later.
Envy: Moonlight Sonata
When I hear it, it makes me think of a man who loved a woman and lost her to someone else and stews in this loss constantly.
Wrath could be 1812 Overture. Check it out.
Carmina Burana would probably do for all of them.
And there’s always Dies Irae…
Carmina Burana. I was trying to think of that one. It’s fantastic. It could really do for any of them.
In The Mood by Glenn Miller. My all time faves and gets me in a lustful mood.
Anger: Mars from The Planets. Overused, but very apt.
Lust: parts of Rite of Spring by Stravinsky
I’d check out Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. There is so much depth and variation of feeling involved, you’d probably be able to find some cool stuff there! Good luck Kevbo!
Sloth is the hard one, right? But wait:
Up a Lazy River!!!
You could use Darth Vader’s march for wrath.
