Have any astronauts experienced zero gravity sex?

Asked by jcs007 (1776points) November 26th, 2008

I’ve read about the interesting possibilities. Just wondering if they actually got around to it in the ISS. Or even any of the critters up there. Have they copulated since being torn away from their species?

Captain Kirk has had sex in zero gravity, micro-gravity, hyper-gravity, normal gravity, you name it.

Cool wiki article about it.

“Imagine a spacecraft of the future, with a crew of a thousand ladies, off for Alpha Centauri, with 2,000 breasts bobbing beautifully and quivering delightfully in response to every weightless movement”

“Some women, Commander Norton had decided long ago, should not be allowed aboard ship; weightlessness did things to their breasts that were too damn distracting. It was bad enough when they were motionless; but when they started to move, and sympathetic vibrations set in, it was more than any warm-blooded male should be asked to take. He was quite sure that at least one serious space accident had been caused by acute crew distraction, after the transit of an unholstered lady officer through the control cabin.”

@damien: Thank’s for that link, hillarious article… humanity will be doomed in space!

“One of the principal findings was that the classic so-called missionary position, which is so easy on earth when gravity pushes one downwards, is simply not possible,”

Boy, is it hot in here?

Don’t ask, don’t tell: Armstrong and Collins got a Brokebacky with a few punches in the face followed by a reacharound in the LEM.

Actually, Collins was stuck in the CSM orbiting the moon while Armstrong was making a giant leap for mankind by giving Aldrin the first extraterrestrial Sanchez.
I have the Franklin Mint plate commemorating it.
