Do you ever remember a dream a few hours after you wake up and get upset that it was only a dream?

I once had a dream that was so hauntingly frightful it scared me for the entire day, and brings up weird feelings when I think about it now.

my dad died 4 years ago and about a year ago I had a dream with him in it, that was so so real, I asked him in the dream where he had been and he told me on a golfing holiday. He had a healthy tan and told me he got it because he was nearer the sun. He then said he had to go away again for a while and I was asking him to stay and then I woke up with real tears on my face. I was very close to him but until then had found it really hard to cry about him dying. His death seemed very unreal until the day after that dream.

Yeah, that happens to me all the time, I’ve had dreams about my future.. they were so real that it was just incredible. The best is when you wake up and remember your dreams and look them up. Sometimes it’s scary how dead on it is.

At least once a week, if I am lucky. That happens to me a lot! It really does piss me off when it is something simple and it’s not real, like getting my Mac back from the Apple Store. I thought I had gotten it, only to realize it was a dream, I actually got so pissed I threw my old Vista Laptop across the room!

Research (google) “lucid dreaming techniques”. There is actually a technique where you can become aware that you are dreaming during your dream. Have fun with that ;)

I hate when I dream that I got something really cool, like a lot of money or car, only to wake up disappointed….. :(
I still check around to make sure I didnt really get the cool things.

lol dreaming is so wierd. It really does suck though when it turns out they weren’t real though. One time I think I dreamt that my current girlfriend said she made out with one of my ex-girlfriends who is her friend but i thought it was real and i mentioned it one time and she said she had no idea what i was talking about. I really thought that happened for like a couple weeks until she made it clear it definitely didn’t. lol

i’ve tried lucid dreaming before. it’s never really worked for me. I wish it did it sounds awesome though haha. If you wanna watch a really interesting movie on lucid dreaming check out “Waking Life”. it’s really sick

When I was pregnant, I dreamt that I was at a potluck or something. There were long tables laden with nothing but desserts; cakes, pies, cookies, bars, jello salad, fruit salads. I spend ages filling up my plate, and was just going to sit down to eat when I woke up! Grrrr!!!
