Thanks guys, I bought my dad a Garmin 250 (I think) today.

I used to work at the circuit city roadshop, and hands down, it’s Garmin. We had a tomtom in the car one time when my boyfriend, his friend and I were driving from Oregon to California, it got us lost, bad. And that’s happen more than once, I also think there are better maps and whatnot for the garmen. When I was working in roadshop we never once sold a magellan either. Was mostly garmins thanks to how reliable they are, plus all their added features. But that’s just IMO.
