General Question
Who wants to play the song title game?
It’s a bit like PnL’s places game, but with song titles. You give a song title where the last word of the previous song title is the first word of the next song title. Here’s an example-
A Hard Day’s Night – The Beatles
Night In The City – Electric Light Orchestra
City of Dreams – Talking Heads
The next song would start with “Dreams”. This something I used to play with friends and it can get difficult sometimes. Overall, it’s pretty easy, but the are a few ground rules.
1) These have to be published song titles, not something you wrote for your garage band. You have to list the artist who performs the song along with the title.
2) You can’t follow your own song title.
3) Both “the” & “and” cannot be ignored, so you can’t follow Little By Little – The Chicharones with A Little Less Conversation – Elvis Presley.
(And putting down Little Less Conversation without the “a” is cheating!)
4) You can make it challenging, but not impossible.
For example: Bathtime In Clerkenwell – The Real Tuesday Weld. It’s not likely that there is a song title starting with Clerkenwell.
5) All great entries with be rewarded with lurve.
Let’s see how far we can go with this. I’ll start with…
