The stuffing! My aunt has perfected the art of Thanksgiving stuffing, and I look forward to it every year. (It’s also a nice change from my steady diet of macaroni and cheese in college.)
Dude, I get it all in a big pile and chow down.
First bite was stuffing. After that, I alternate bites of everything. Leftovers tonight were even better!
Pierogies(sp)
I hand made then for the first time and, boy, was it a lot of work. 30 minutes of kneading dough for each batch, boiling and mashing potatoes, and actually cooking the pierogies. They tasted very good, so It was all worth it.
First thing I got a hold of was a deviled egg. I chased that with a bite of grannies homemade yeast rolls with real butter. The rest was a gluttonous blur.
My first bite was from a pineapple salad on the side. From my plate, though—first bite was stuffing.
Nothing. I didn’t get invited anywhere.
What was it with brussels sprouts this year? I made them; everyone made them. Ate them all up before messing with anything else. Fabulous!
I dove right into the mashed potatoes and never looked back.
The green beans almadine I made that everyone else made fun of because I chose to make them rather than green bean casserole. They were delicious thank you very much!
@loser: Well if you’re in West Virginia next year, consider yourself invited!
Stuffed mushrooms @loser you can come over for some left overs.
Candies Sweet Potatoes! Life is short start with dessert. LOL!
