Can you tell me what happened?

I discovered while brushing my teeth this morning, that my face was gone. There are rumors that wild facelifters have been seen digging through garbaga cans, but, to my knowledge, they’ve never come inside, especially at night.

I’ve never had my face lifted before, and I don’t know what to expect. Will I grow a new face? Do I have to find those vagrant facelifters, and recover my, by now, half-eaten face to serve as a template? How different will I look if I can’t recover even a scrap of my old face?
