My cat, Rukus, has a very large and growing lump on her chin, what could it be?

There is no scabbing or puss, it is just a very large, and growing larger each day, lump. I fear it may be a type of cancer but ifanyone has any answers it would be greatly appreciated. Many concerns -Alyson
