The most important question you'll ever answer: WHOPPER OR BIG MAC?
Inspired by a strange new ad campaign: they’re bringing the two burgers out to remote locations in Asia to see what these burger “virgins” think.

Whopper, FTW!
No onions, with cheese, king size with a Coke.
Oh, darn. I should have considered that in my options.
Whoppers for sure. Also no onions (nasty vegetable) and with cheese. I’ll take a Sprite though. Thanks.
asmonet: I think we were separated at birth..
Someone always asks that. I almost included a whisper explanation in my post. :P
FTW = For the win!
I thought it was WTF backwards. I am so not cool.
@emily: It’s okay, we still likes yous and junk. :) You’re still invited to the sleepover.
Whopper with cheese, extra pickle and onion, no mayo, no ketchup. bottled water (makes it a healthy meal!)
@steve6: I’m gonna hurl. You can have your Gross-wich.. Blech. :P
OK, I’m not savvy, but is that a tongue?
@steve- Yep. If you ever get confused by a series of characters, you could check Wikipedia for some answers.
Whopper is better but I crave Big Mac too!
I rarely eat either anymore because they are so bad for you. Each has a different taste, so I feel they can’t be compared. I admit to being more of a McD’s person only because that was what we had near us when I was a kid and it’s where I had my first job. But I get cravings for either from time-to-time (Whopper Jr. with cheese… and the standard fixins – I like onions!)
Big Mac!!!!!!!
I dunno, I’ve always been a McDonalds person. I actually prefer their double cheeseburgers. They’re so good I swear they put like, crack in them.
We don’t have one here though. Just Wendys and BK.
But I do love a nice hot juicy whopper now and again, with cheese, no onions or any of that stuff. With a coke!
To many choices to little time. I like both for different reasons so to pick only one is hard. I like the Whoppers because they grill them instead of frying. I like the sauce on the Big Mac. To bad they can’t combine the two.
I stand in solidarity with EmpressPixie here. The Whopper is gigantic and messy. The Jr. is the perfect size, and like 2 bucks less. I guess, though, in the spirit of this question, I’d say “Whopper”. I just rounded.
ALSO, am I too late? Did I miss the sleepover? Were there burgers there?
@Raggedy- You should start a restaurant, call it McKing, and sell those burgers. Cuz I’d eat ‘em!
If there was a sleepover, I missed it too.
@shadling21-you be the manager. I must have missed the sleepover to.
I agree with Raggedy Ann – both have their points. For a brief period there was a “Fiesta Whopper” that was almost a combination of the two – very tasty but I could only eat half.
Right now, however, my favorite store-bought burger (other than those from a local place called Rusty’s that finally closed after 50 years, sigh) is Whataburger’s A-1 Burger.
chelseababyy: What!?! There’s no McDonald’s near you? I think you might me living in that last town on earth left without a McDonald’s. ;-)
Hahaha, I’m living in the Cayman Islands. There’s a restaurant here called MacDonalds and because of that McDonalds didn’t wanna build here or some crap like that. I’m here til March or May and dying. I miss McD’s so bad!
Whopper, even though it is ginormous, and I get it all over myself and the car. I only eat one every six months or so, because everyone I know around here hates the smokey flavor of BK.
Nimis: GA for mentioning the Famous Star. That is my favorite, too.
With a side of fried zucchini!
Omg! Gotta get the house dressing, too. Nimis.. I love you.
For me it is definitely the Whopper. When I get that craving (and it may last a week or two solid before I get it) but nothing, and I mean NOTHING satisfies it. Even if I order it and only have a bite or two, it makes it so worth it.
Whopper with cheese, onion rings with zesty sauce, and a chocolate shake…in other words: heaven.
In Europe McDonalds, hands down. In the US they are about the same and frankly the McD in the US are nowhere near as good as in Europe. Weird but that’s how I find it. In the US I prefer Red Robin.
Every few weeks,I get a Whopper Jr. for my parrot. He gets excited when a Whopper Jr. is coming his way.
Whopper. I like the flame-broiled flavor.
