It was a shock to get almost a full tank for $20. I don’t expect it to last, but it did feel good. I paid $1.89 a gallon, and we are usually more expensive than the rest of our region. Where my daughter goes to school 2 hours away, it’s $1.66 a gallon.
Gas is down to about 75 cents per litre, which is still a bit high (Google tells me that’s about $2.83 Canadian per gallon). That’s down from the highest ever a few weeks ago at $1.34 per litre (more than 5 bucks per gallon). The lowest I’ve ever seen it was about 45 cents per litre and that was way way long ago. I filled up my car for $33 yesterday and it felt nice. But my driving habits have changed indeed.
like a 3. i would rather spend my money on something a bit more fun, even if the prices are down.
Ha ha :-) We’re pretty low on prices here as well – at 1,50$ / liter.
Yep, that would be Europe. Denmark to be more precise.
Great…I just paid $1.13 a gallon at a grand opening…filled my truck and 9 more gallons in gascans for less than $35.
