Favourite movies:
The Assassination of Jesse James – So so so underrated
Atonement – Mmm… James MacAvoy, and that 5 minute tracking shot
Les Choristes – French choir boys, what’s not to like?
Control – Great film, great band
Die Hard – Best action film (and villain) evar, period.
Eastern Promises – Just go watch it
Fight Club – I don’t think this film needs an explanation
The Good the Bad and the Ugly – Blondie. ‘Nuff said.
Hot Fuzz – Liked it more than Shuan of the Dead
In Bruges – Only if you like good ol’ British humour
Joyuex Noël – Films are always about WWII not WWI
Kill Bill – Unadulterated gory fun
The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters – Donkey Kong!
Lars and the Real Girl – Heart-warming
Das Leben der Anderen – One of the best endings to a film, I’ve seen
Léon – Jean Reno + Natalie Portman = Must see
Love Actually – One of the few rom-coms I actually enjoy
M – Fritz Lang at his best
The Prestige – Should’ve won an Oscar
Run Lola Run – Pure adrenaline, superb editing
Le Samouraï – Quoted from Criterion, the epitome of cool
Sweeney Todd – Ah, I’m a sucker for Burton/Depp films
Der Untergang – Where is the Oscar?

My favourite director has got to be Fritz Lang, and Christopher Nolan at a close second.
