…or is it more or less a waste for someone who sells vintage clothing?

I never use the gallery plus, and I have about a 90% success rate in my sales on ebay.
Depends on the item.
For most things, one image is enough for you to get/understand an item. But for vintage clothing, I would say yes. The cut on vintage clothing is more particular than modern clothing. You can have a detailed description, but people are very visually-oriented. Especially true, I think, for high end vintage (100.00+ final bid). Makes sense…as a buyer would you be willing to shell out a lot of money for something that you’ve only seen one photo of? Maybe one really great shot could do it. But different people might be sold on different angles. For instance, have you ever liked a secondary image more than the main image chosen by the seller? Though it seems you’re selling mostly mens clothing. I’m guessing sizing, fit, etc. is much less obtuse.
For myself (as a buyer):
Housewares: Ask about condition.
Electronics: Ask about condition. Research other info online.
Jewelry: Ask for condition. Check reference to size/scale.
Clothing (modern): Ask for detailed measurements, condition.
Clothing (vintage): Ask for detailed measurements, more pictures, condition.
Sometimes ask for additional pictures.
That being said, I probably won’t invest in Gallery Plus just yet.
Probably won’t need to think about it until my final bids are much higher.
Good luck!
