Articles about punk rock?

I don’t know about articles, but The Philosophy of Punk is a great book on the hardcore movement. Most books, documentaries and articles on punk, claim that punk died after the first wave(Sex Pistols, Clash, etc.), but this book covers what those leave out, the Hardcore movement that is still alive today. It goes into depth on the ideals and beliefs of this movement, not just the music. Really good read!

I also have no articles to offer, but a professor of mine had us read Subculture: The Meaning of Style (by Dick Hebdige) when we talked about punk subculture. It’s not just about punks, though. It’s about subculture, with punk being one of the subcultures discussed.

yeah—just read it this morning it’s a “wikipedia article” (but not a wikipedia story)
