from iPhone
Ok I have an iPhone! Problem is I don’t actually own a computer! My only access to a computer is at a public place I.e library which don’t allow for downloads! There must be a way to download from the store without this… Is there??

hmm…sounds like a good question for apple. You can access Apple.com from public computers, I would think. Did you buy it from Apple, or is it a jailbroken one? Seems like the Apple people would have addressed that with you.
I don’t know. Good luck with that. Do you have any friends with iPhone/itunes at home on PC?
Didnt purchase it directly from apple… Bought it on pay-as-u-go on the 02 tariff. Did what it told me too do… Plug it into iTunes and so forth but panicked a bit when it asked me for my bank details! Now I realize I needed that to set up an account.. And the consequence is I can’t download anything directly to my iPhone :(
Download a free app to create an account, and then you can download directly from your iphone.
I’ve tried but just asks me for my username and password… All the same really appreciate the help guys.
Without trying to be an ass, I will point out that on the back of the box it says:
Requirements: Minimum wireless service plan….(bla bla) Mac or PC with USB 2.0.…
Nope it’s alright mate… It’s the guy who sold it to me who’s the arse… Had to be on commision that guy… He snuck the box in the bag. Extremely happy with it though… Though Im not getting the full benifiet out of it!
You don’t have a single friend who has a computer? You can make an account on their iTunes, then sign out, and use that from your iPhone. It doesn’t seem insurmountable.
of course I do ha ha.. Just would have been a lot easier if I could do it myself?! Work a lot so don’t really have time… And would mean giving bank details out.. I think I can set one up using an iTunes card… Can anyone confirm this?
Unfortunately, you can’t set it up without putting your information on there. =\
Too many restrictions, maybe consider a cheap “go phone?”
