She could be feeling stressed or anxious because of the upcoming conference. I think the brain could draw a likely connection between this anxiety and the same anxiety one would feel being naked in a room with coworkers and then being not included with others, causing one’s daily stress to be represented as this nakedness.

It is a vulnerability dream brought on by anxiety about the conference.

I was thinking an extension of the old “I haven’t anything to wear!” To an extreme, of course. Maybe she needs some new shoes.

I have those dreams when I feel like I am not prepared, or like I am scattered. I dream that everything is perfect except Oops! I forgot my pants. Scary thing is that sometimes it hits to close to home. I was (awake) at Disneyland with my grand son yesterday when I realized I had my pants on backwards! Good thing I had a long shirt on! They were kind of like dressy sweats so I don’t think anyone could tell, I just kept wondering why my pants kept feeling low on my back! It’s stuff like that and discovering I’m wearing 2 different shoes that make waking up from naked dreams panicky. then relieved that it really IS a dream.

I had a dream once when I was walking around town naked and I couldn’t find my way home. The thing was that no one was like “EW NUDIST!!” or “PUT SOME CLOTHES ON!” they just ind-of kept walking. I was only ½ embarrassed, too, but I needed to get home not because I was nude, but because it was the end of the day. It’s a dream, and my house could be anywhere, but I never got to it. Eventually, I entered this twilight-zone looking area where now I was looking for just the city. Then, I woke up. I guess the nudist was lost in the twilight zone forever; or at least until the next time I dream about it.

as a teacher and lecturer on dreams and their symbols for many years I would like to comment on this dream.
In the dreamworld nudity actually means that you are ready to show yourself as you are and in this dream the dreamer is a little outside the group. That means that she is on her way to be more ready to dare stand out and on her own.
So even if it seems scary to be naked it is actually very positve image of her becoming more independant and selftrusting.

maybe its the fact that not only is she exposed to this new group where she is the outsider, but also the fact that she feels very daunted by these people and that they are above her..

the way to deal with it would simply to go into the meeting and imagine them all on the toilet.. everyone has to sh** no matter how “above” you they may seem :)

yeah I think she is feeling vulnerable in some way
