What is the song that the "Dexter" opening theme originates from?

I’ve tried google and youtube, but I can’t find the original song. I heard from somewhere that it originates from an old country song, and I’d love to hear it, so does anybody know what the origianl song is called?

Wikipedia’s article on the TV Series lists information about the soundtrack towards the end of the page… it does not say that the theme is based on any previous works. I’m on my iPhone… so I can’t do links.

@trumi, thanks. I have the Dexter soundtrack with all of the themes, including the main theme, but somebody told me that it was based off of some other country song, I guess they were mistaken.
