nope. So he can dodge a shoe? Bigdeal. He can also dodge facts. That’s what got him dodging shoes in the first place.

The only thing it made me think of, was that Bush is very used to having things thrown at him. That first dodge was the dodge of a pro.

Definitely not a lame duck!

@harp, you can still be lame and lean to the side quickly!

Respect? No. It just looked to me like he grew up playing football, and still plays it at Camp David. He’s probably a total jock and I hate him more for it.

rossi_bear's avatar

nope not one bit. never did and never will.

must admit, I was impressed. That was a spry dodge.

Heck yeah! He probably just thought it was a draft being thrown at him though…

robmandu's avatar

If he had caught the shoes and thrown them back, that would’ve been cool.

madcapper's avatar

@ chriznak I like it! or he thought it was the bill of rights flying at him, he has seemed to dodge that enough…

i must say, he was very agile. (see my question the other day: “are you a lame duck?)

i have to give it to him. for somebody to believe he/she is in a secured area, his reaction to abnormalities was extraordinary. do you expect shoes to be thrown at you? the president of the united states or a mail clerk? who would?

Knotmyday's avatar

He’ll be on my dodgeball team.

hypeserver's avatar

He maybe able to dodge two shoes, but Chuck Norris can dodge a nuclear attack. Beat that.

not especially, because my psychology teacher hurls our index card stacks at us (they’re rubber banded not loose haha) and i can dodge them. and sometimes even catch them. maybe the situation would be a little more difficult if they were shoes, i’ll have to suggest my teacher switch up the game a little. He has been dodging responsibility the last few years. Lots of practice dodging!

Bluefreedom's avatar

Looking back over the last 8 years, I will never be able to gain more than the infinitesimal amount of respect for George Bush that I already have.
