It requires X11 and I can not find it for 10.4.X but only for 10.5.X

Yes, it’s just a pain to find X11 for 10.4. I believe you need the original Tiger cd, and then you can install it from Additional Packages.
You might also want to check out Seashore, a port of Gimp for OS X.
Gimp… blah I hatez that program.
@btko It’s a really great program if you’re willing to put in some time to learn how to use it. But it’s not for everyone.
Sorry, I’m a techno loser. What is Gimp? Never mind, I just pulled up ncanderson42’s link and didn’t understand 10% of what I read. FER GIT IT!
@Cardinal :) That’s alright, it’s for editing pictures, it’s kind of a free, open source photoshop.
Fair enough ncanderson – actually I tihnk i’ll try that seashore port of GIMP, I’ve only tried gimp on windows and really couldn’t get a handle on how they changed the naming of everything. (Compared to Photoshop). And I think that’s a issue with a lot of the open source projects out there (like Open Office) is that they stray to far away from the “normal”.
IMHO
@btko I haven’t bought software in a couple years, so I’m used to it, but I think you’re right, it scares away alot of people.
