Will we discover another world civilization in our liftetimes?

Asked by RandomMrdan (7439points) December 18th, 2008

To find another planet to support life such as our own here on Earth, think it’s going to happen in this life time? It’d be pretty neat to someday vacation to another world. Or to visit other civilizations far different than our own.

The odds are against that it. But you never know, anythings possible. I do agree, it would be amazing to be able to visit another civilization

Some say we already have, and it's not for public consumption. Projectcamelot.org

I think you might find my explanation silly, but it is a thought. What if just like us, God is made up of cells, except for him, the cells are our universes, and to find another world or universe, would be to meet up with another cell in God’s body. ?, just a theory.

If it’s up to the American government, 98% of the population will most likely be wiped out. Sorry. But it’s the facts.

@chelseababyy Do you have this in writing from somewhere? Sure would love to know. Sounds almost like you have no hope. But, you know I really hope that I will see you on judgement day to let you know that we were never really wiped out, just elevated to another level of existence.

One option is to colonize the planets and the another option is to change what we see around.3D

@tiggersmom I’ll see if I can find it in writing. It’s on podcasts and some documentaries by Alex Jones where he has the documents, and no worries. I’ll be there.

Nope. I am pretty sure there are various civilisations that have been/will be active at various times, though to coincide with ours is pretty rare, and the times interstellar travel involves make any contact practically impossible. I think it’s just wishful thinking, especially to assume that they’ll come here and be nice to us (I don’t think we’ve been nice to any civilisations we discovered so far, have we?)
