Will usa wii console work in uk?

we have usa wii console and games, and want to take it on holiday to a rented uk house: will it still work?

I believe European countries use a different kind of power adapter than here in the U.S. I’m not entirely sure though. I would still bring a “universal power adapter” with though just incase. You can pick them up at sharperimage and bestbuy may sell them as well.

Ducky If you tried plugging something into the wrong outlet you would could get shocked. So yes, you can get hurt.
