Failed.
There are two goals in play, your first goal that you’re attempting to fail at and the secondary goal of failing successfully. You could make the argument that you succeed and you fail if you view them separately, but if you’re intentionally failing at something…you fail.
You suck, and you fail. :)
Both. Why would someone try to fail at anything? Sounds like a waste of time.
You played out your destiny.
Easy, you have succeeded at failing.
@cdwccrn: because they were afraid to succeed, or afraid they wouldn’t succeed. If they try to fail, then the future is certain, and that feels safer than allowing the future to be uncertain. I do it on a daily basis.
I had a probability question like this once in statistics, and it was VERY tricky to answer! You could have solved it two ways: solve for failure and you would have your answer, or you could solve for success and then would have to subtract that answer from 1, because in probability you can’t have it equal to more than one….soooooo to make a short answer long…I would say that you failed, but you should be really proud of yourself because that’s what you wanted to do and you succeeded at it! haha Good Question!!!
I find the best way to fail is to not try….....so, can’t really call it ‘try to fail’, more like ‘not trying to succeed’
